Warm sticky date sponge with tahini caramel, crispy sesame tuile, bite-sized pieces of halva – a fudge-like Middle Eastern dessert made from tahini – plus vanilla ice cream on top. The pool of caramel sauce isn’t particularly sweet, but instead, it has a deep, bitter nutty note that makes it incredibly grown-up.
