Whipped

Whipped London - honeycomb cheesecake
A destination dedicated to cheesecake...

The latest addition to London’s dessert scene, the aptly-named Whipped in Covent Garden is dedicated to so-called whipped cheesecakes. The first of its kind, Whipped reimagines the classic, dense New York-style cheesecake into something decidedly light and genius: cheesecake-infused soft serves jazzed up with dreamy drizzles and toppings. You can either build your own, choosing from five cheesecake varieties and 50(!) different sprinkles, or opt for one of their signature serves – thoughtfully put together by Michelin-trained chef and co-founder Alice. Choose from honeycomb soft serve with a pretzel base and butterscotch sauce, The Kensington princess (scone crumb, raspberry gel, champagne meringues and gold leaves), or the Choco-Doodle-Doo formed of malted cheesecake and a whole lot of chocolatey dollops and drips.

Besides soft serves, Whipped offers a daily changing line-up of sweets that are just as creative. Always fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth creamy, baked cheesecakes are piled high with everything imaginable (chocolate shavings, caramel, berries, brownie chunks, cookie crumbles), while cookie cup pies pack everything into one portable treat.

This dessert hybrid starts with a cookie crust, crisp on the edges and doughy soft inside, which is wrapped around cheesecake and topped with whatever Whipped in mind (think meringue or marshmallow fluff). It’s basically a cookie, cheesecake and pie combined as one – because why would you choose between your favourite desserts?
